Wicks Manor wins another national award - BRITAINS BEST SAUSAGE

Wicks Manor won Britain Best Sausage at the Meat Industry Awards in Birmingham on 2nd July 2013. The Award was presented to Fergus by Peter Shilton. The Award winning sausage was the Farmers Choice - Gluten Free. It was commented that to win such an award with Gluten Free sausages beating all other competition shows the high standard of all Wicks Manor sausages.

Winning this award is a fantastic achievement and will help increase sales through 2013. This award shows Wicks Manor is recognised for national excellence.

Fergus said, "This award from the meat industry acknowledges the dedication and hard work of all our team who raise the pigs, work in the butchery, develop the recipes and sell the sausages. Producing great tasting products is key to our business but stockists also need reassurance about traceability which we can provide.”

The annual Meat Management Awards sets a benchmark for recognising excellence throughout the meat industry where home farm producers can compete with multi-million producers in the search for Britain’s Best Sausage.
