A huge congratulations to Pete, one of our very skilled butchers. He has recently completed his Food and Drink Qualification Level 2 Certificate for Proficiency in Meat and Poultry Industry Skills. Pete has always been keen to develop his knowledge, and through our Staff Development Programme that we have here at Wicks Manor, in conjunction with The Meat Training School ( @meat_ipswich ), Pete was able to do just that! To achieve this qualification, Pete not only had to demonstrate the necessary skills but also complete written and practical assessments, enabling him to showcase his extended knowledge. Fergus Howie, Owner of Wicks Manor said, “We are proud of his achievements and very happy to see his career and profession, as a skilled butcher, grow with us at Wicks Manor.” Due to this fantastic achievement, Pete can now advance to the Level 3 Advanced Butchery Apprenticeship, where he can continue to thrive and develop his skills further.
